Thomas was raised on an organic vegetable farm in Zephyr Ontario and felt the Lord calling him into the ministry at the end of high school.   He attended Tyndale University and earned his BRE there.

Amy-Beth has been a pastor’s daughter her whole life and spent her childhood in Timmins Ontario and her family moved to Uxbridge Ontario while she was in high school.

It was at the Uxbridge Free Methodist Church that Thomas and Amy-Beth met. They were high school sweet hearts and we’re married in 2007.  They have been at the Cloyne Free Methodist Church as lead pastor for the past 7 years. While there they have added 3 children to their family. Joel, Julia, and Macy.

 

 

Obeying God’s call to enter full time Christian service, she attended Kingswood University in Sussex, NB. As part of her studies she lived in Swaziland, Africa for five months in 2004, where she was mentored by a missionary couple who worked with the Jesus film project and AIDS orphans. She graduated in 2005 with a BA in Religion. After a short term mission trip to China, Elizabeth spent a year in Japan teaching English and working with a church plant. On returning to Canada she became the Pastor of Youth and Children’s Ministries at New Hope Wesleyan Church in Nova Scotia. During her eight and a half years there she lead a short term mission trip, spoke at summer camps, attended many youth rallies and lock-in, and ate a lot of pizza. She was ordained in 2009. Elizabeth enjoys reading, art, crafts, and board games.

 

Susi works in the church office as the Administrative Assistant. She and her husband Stuart are the proud parents of their 9 year old son Ian.
